EN HEALING WATERS Thursday, 22 October 2026 | 19:30–21:30 | Pfarre St. Florian ECHOES OF SOFTNESS Echoes of Softness is a concert that is not only heard but felt, moved through and inhabited. Organ, electronics, voice and movement merge into a spatial body of sound that unfolds throughout the church. Cushions, blankets and soft islands replace rigid rows, inviting the audience to lie down, move, listen and remain. Led by Valeria Lanner and Aaron Josi Sternbauer, the evening moves between improvisation, minimal music, classical traditions and contemporary sound, approaching softness as a shared and embodied practice. In the context of this year’s festival theme WHERE WATER GATHERS, open compositions and a walkable installation explore circulation, permeability and interconnectedness. Audience members are welcome to move freely through the church during the performance. Cushions and blankets form part of the installation. You are also welcome to bring your own blanket or cushion for additional comfort. TICKET INFORMATION Supporter – €25 For those who are able and would like to contribute a little extra. Your support helps sustain independent cultural production and makes lower-priced tickets possible for others. Regular – €20 Our regular and recommended ticket price, in line with previous festival editions. If this price works for you, we encourage you to choose this option. Reduced – €15 A lower-priced ticket for those for whom the regular price would be a financial barrier. We kindly ask you to choose this option only if you need it, so that reduced tickets remain available to those who need them most. Orgel, Elektronik, Stimme und Bewegung verbinden sich zu einem räumlichen Klangkörper, der sich durch die gesamte Kirche entfaltet. Kissen, Decken und weiche Inseln ersetzen starre Sitzreihen und laden das Publikum dazu ein, sich hinzulegen, zu bewegen, zuzuhören und zu verweilen. Unter der künstlerischen Leitung von Valeria Lanner und Aaron Josi Sternbauer bewegt sich der Abend zwischen Improvisation, Minimal Music, klassischen Traditionen und zeitgenössischem Sound. Dabei wird Sanftheit als gemeinsame und verkörperte Praxis erfahrbar. Im Kontext des diesjährigen Festivalthemas WHERE WATER GATHERS / WO WASSER SICH SAMMELT erkunden offene Kompositionen und eine begehbare Installation Zirkulation, Durchlässigkeit und Verbundenheit. Das Publikum ist eingeladen, sich während der Performance frei durch die Kirche zu bewegen. Kissen und Decken sind Teil der Installation.
