Come join us to dance on the High Line! Brazilian movement is a unique and fun combination of Samba reggae from Bahia, Rio de Janeiro, and West African and Latino beats. All levels are welcome. The event is rain or shine—the event space is fully covered. In the event of extreme weather, this program may be canceled for the health and safety of our visitors and staff. It is her passion to inspire and motivate others to have fun and feel good. Adults of any age are invited to join the High Line to learn, move, have fun, and connect with neighbors. Wellness activities, educational sessions, cultural engagements, and other events are offered on and near the park, in collaboration with local community-based organizations that serve older adults in Chelsea, Hell’s Kitchen, and on the West Side of Manhattan. By attending this event, you agree that photos and/or video footage of you may be taken, and you grant your permission to Friends of the High Line and its agents/licensees to use such photos/footage for promotional and other purposes.
