Country Fair at Hallockville – Tradition in Riverhead

Hallockville Museum Farm, the 28-acre preserved farm homestead on Long Island’s North Fork invites the public to celebrate farm life, local history and culture, and community spirit at its 45th Annual Hallockville Country Fair, on Saturday, October 3 and Sunday, October 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Hallockville Country Fair offers visitors an opportunity to immerse themselves in Long Island’s family farm heritage, from livestock and tractors to handicrafts and historic home tours. Family-friendly activities will take place throughout the Hallockville Museum Farm property and the adjacent Long Island Antique Power Association grounds. In appreciation to the community, Hallockville will offer half-price admission to the fair on Sunday morning between 10 a.m. and noon. Hallockville Museum Farm is located at 6038 Sound Avenue in Riverhead. Sample Country Fair attractions include colonial cooking demonstrations; traditional craft and skills demonstrations and craft vendors; farm animals; children’s games and crafts; Indigenous People presentations; a produce, honey and jam competition; wagon and kiddie train rides; tractor pulls, live music; food vendors and more.
