Dreamcrusher: SUITE III

Viewer discretion is advised* Roulette Resident Dreamcrusher presents SUITE III, the third installment of their on-going SUITE record series, and a more urgent and emotional music event. As the Dreamcrusher project matures, the need to be more impactful in ethos and wonderment rather than genre or style has become the main goal. The intense nature of the music is fueled by heavy pulsing electronically generated rhythms in conjunction with nostalgic sampling and hypnotically warm melodies. Using noise and fringe music as a template, coloring outside the lines ‘kaleidoscopically’ to create lush musical landscapes onto the grounded harsh topography of reality. Dreamcrusher is a non-binary queer New York City-based musician/artist. Since 2003, their work has been at once personal and abstract, revealing and antagonistic; performances and recordings shift between genres while subjecting the characteristic elements—melodies, beats, vocals, instrumentation—to distortion until the point of transformation.
