Monday, October 26, 2026 7:00 p.m. Eastern Harlem School of the Arts — The Herb Alpert Center (645 Saint Nicholas Avenue New York, NY 10030 Program: Pilot screening followed by a discussion session. The IMEN TV Series Pilot Party brings together invited industry professionals for a screening of the pilot, followed by a discussion exploring the story, its themes, and the conversations it invites. IMEN is a character-driven thriller exploring identity, power, ownership, and the hidden patterns that shape the human condition. When Dean Vincent is forced into a covert biological transfer tied to Henrietta Lacks’ immortal cells, a brilliant young recruit, a volatile former partner, and a billionaire “architect of control” collide in a struggle over who controls the body—and what it means to remain yourself. Combining suspense with questions of bodily autonomy, inherited trauma, and human connection, IMEN invites audiences to look beyond what its characters do and consider the forces that shape their choices. Created by Joint Ventures Productions, IMEN brings together a creative team whose work spans film, television, literature, and trauma-informed storytelling. Resmaa Menakem — Executive Producer & Co-Writer A New York Times bestselling author, therapist, trauma specialist, and founder of Somatic Abolitionism, Menakem brings a perspective grounded in the body, racialized trauma, and the possibilities of healing. His work informs the series’ exploration of identity, survival, and the patterns people carry into their relationships. Vincent Ventresca — Director & Writer An actor, writer, producer, and director, Ventresca brings experience in film and television and a focus on character-driven storytelling to IMEN. Andre Hardy — Co-Writer A writer, producer, and publisher, Hardy brings a perspective connecting storytelling, culture, and social impact to the series’ creative team.
