Grammy nominated producer and trumpeter Carlos Abadie, hails from Miami, Florida where his first professional musical endeavors were with Melton Mustafa and the great Ira Sullivan. Mr. Abadie decided to move to New York City in 1993 and quickly became entrenched in the New York music scene starting out with Jason Linder's Big Band.. Now over 20 years later Mr. Abadie has had the distinct honor of playing with Junior Mance, Louis Hayes, Illinois Jacquet, Ocean Pope, Jimmy Heath, Clark Terry, Ray Santos and his Orchestra, Bobby Sanabria, Manny Oquendo, Andy Gonzalez and many more.. Since 2007, Mr. Abadie has been leading his own Jazz quintet. And with his quintet he has played all of the major venues in New York and the tri-state area. Mr. Abadie started wearing the hat of producer in 2013 when he was asked by bassist and producer Andy Gonzalez for Mr. Gonzalez's album entitled Entre Colegas. Entre Colegas was nominated for a Grammy in 2016, Mr. Abadie was also a featured soloist on this album. Carlos Abadie is a constant musical presence and is revered by his colleagues on the New York jazz scene. Mr. Abadie continues to be a source inspiration to the musical community in NYCand to younger musicians just coming on to the scene. Simon Mogul is a 26-year-old Tenor Saxophonist originally from Miami (FL), currently based in New York City. Simon's artistic vision fuses a deep respect for jazz’s rich history—channeling legends like John Coltrane and Sonny Rollins—with contemporary sounds and ideas, creating a vibe that honors the lineage while sounding fresh and forward-thinking. Simon has performed with jazz luminaries such as Curtis Lundy, Matt Wilson, Arturo O'Farill, Phillip Harper, Bobby Watson, Jeremy Pelt, Warren Wolf, and Marc Cary at prominent NYC venues such as Smalls, Birdland, Minton's Playhouse, The Django, and many others. In 2025, Simon received a grant from the South Arts foundation to take his band on a national tour to support the release of his debut album, which will be released February 20th, 2026. Simon will make his festival debut at the Plaza Jazz Fest in Havana in January 2026. As a music educator, Simon has taught students of all ages and backgrounds, in a wide variety of educational settings. Simon has worked as an Ensemble Coach within the City College of New York's Jazz Studies program, and currently serves as a saxophone mentor to formerly incarcerated individuals through the Music on the Inside organization. Trombonist and composer Joe Giordano seamlessly blends the roots of trombone with the instrument’s desire to be explored further. Hailing from Albany, NY, Giordano has performed alongside notables such as Frank Lacy, Bobby Sanabria, and Davis Whitfield Jr, as well as his contemporaries, Miles Lennox, Vittorio Stropoli, and others. He hopes to further establish the trombone as having an integral role in the creative scene, just as masters such as JJ Johnson, Melba Liston, and Lawrence Brown did before him. This artist does not have a bio yet. Born in Charlotte, NC to Puerto Rican and Cuban family roots, Kyle Colina has been based in New York City since 2011 and is active across the U.S. and Europe. He has performed with leading jazz artists including Kirk Lightsey, Bob Mover, Lee Konitz, Joe Cohn, Ken Peplowski, John Webber, Duane Eubanks, Philip Harper, James Zollar, Sacha Perry, Dwayne Clemons, Joe Chambers, Joey Cavaseno, William Ash, Stephen Riley, Grant Stewart, Philip Stewart, Pasquale Grasso, Anthony Wonsey, and Johnny O’Neal. His debut album as a leader — recorded in Paris features Kirk Lightsey and Steve Williams As a classical musician, Colina has appeared on five commercial recordings with the Chamber Orchestra of New York on the Naxos label, and is currently Principal Bassist of the New England Symphonic Ensemble, performing concert seasons at Carnegie Hall. He is also a longtime member of the AIMS Festival Opera Orchestra in Graz, Austria. Appearances at clubs such as Smalls Jazz Club, Birdland, Dizzy’s Club at Jazz at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall (Stern, Zankel, and Weill), Sunset Sunside in Paris, and venues in Barcelona. He has also performed in the pit orchestra of The Phantom of the Opera on Broadway. A student of Ron Carter, Colina is the nephew of Grammy-winning producer and composer Michael Colina. He holds degrees from the Manhattan School of Music and the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. This artist does not have a bio yet.
