Love Luggage® “Illustrators Unite for Foster Kids

World-renowned illustrators will unite to transform lost luggage into “canvases of hope,” benefiting children in the New York City foster care system and beyond. Unclaimed Baggage, the nation’s only retailer of lost luggage, is partnering with NYC-based Society of Illustrators on May 2 to launch Love Luggage® “Illustrators Unite for Foster Kids,” a creative initiative timed with National Foster Care Month that will provide foster kids with personalized hard-sided suitcases. The Love Luggage project addresses a heartbreaking reality: many foster children in the United States move their belongings in black trash bags during sudden home transitions. This event is free and open to the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to paint suitcases alongside professional artists, which will be donated directly to local New York City foster children. Free admission.
