What began as a way to bring our community together before our annual 34.3 mile memorial run has quickly become one of the most meaningful days of our year. In 2025, despite pouring rain, more than 500 runners crossed the finish line out of 600 registered, demonstrating that remembrance, resilience, and community are stronger than any storm. Because of your incredible support through race registrations and donations, the 34.3 Foundation was honored to present a $50,000 donation to Lacy Herman’s trust fund, helping preserve the legacy of Joe Herman while supporting his family. This year, we invite you to join us once again as we run together to honor the 343 FDNY members who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11th, 2001 while continuing our commitment to supporting FDNY members and their families through the 34.3 Foundation’s Active Duty Member Crisis Fund.
