Move NYC: Annual Parkour + Movement Festival

The Movement Creative returns to New Design High School’s athletic field with their parkour and movement festival and fundraising benefit, MOVE NYC. On May 22-24, the nomadic parkour company along with dozens of volunteers will build a massive parkour park on the athletic field at 28 Essex Street, and fill it with parkour athletes, climbers, martial artists, and acrobats. Everyone is invited to join the movement community to train, learn, teach, and move together to help raise money for New Design’s physical education program. Sunday 5/24 will feature several dedicated workshops for youth as well as Danish Field Games, Capture The Flag, and Ultimate Dodge Ball. With raffle drawings, snacks and beverages, a massage tent, face painting, and athletic gear for sale in the heart of the bustling Lower East Side, MOVE NYC is the perfect destination for families in town for the Memorial Day Weekend!
