Shibari & Strings presents a unique fusion of art forms, combining the intimacy and tension of rope bondage with the elegance and emotion of live strings for a seductive experience like none other.Witness the deliberate movements of rope artist Mar Like The Sea along fellow aerialist Whitney, accompanied by Brooklyn’s own pop-star Madison Rose. Enter Wonderland, via intentional Shibari performances and jaw dropping live vocals. Madison Rose has slid down a rainbow from another universe and built her own pop world in the process. A fully independent artist with a maximalist vision and undeniable momentum, Rose has achieved milestones often considered out of reach without a major label. In addition to her pop star career, Madison Rose has cemented herself in New York City nightlife, blending her signature sultry vocals, persona and comedic timing to host burlesques and cabarets all around the best city in the world. Whitney is a multidisciplinary circus artist based in Brooklyn. With a background as a competitive gymnast, she now specializes in aerial chains, pole, and straps, while also incorporating the art of fire flow into her performances. Her signature style is dynamic, powerful, and captivating, blending technical precision with expressive movement. Mar like the Sea, originally from Colombia and now based in Brooklyn, is a multifaceted dance, circus, and shibari artist. She sits at the helm of Shibari & Strings, and strives to offer unforgettably physical, intentional, and captivating performances.
