Speakeasy is a rock/alternative/ post grunge band in the Philippines. It started as SIMON GATECRASH in 1994 founded by three high school friends: John Hermano (vocals & guitars), Ronan Chiong (bass) & Edward Andres (drums). The band joined numerous band competitions, performed on different radio stations and gained budding recognition in Cebu City during the late 90’s.
