The 7th Annual Danny Awards® – Musik in New York City

Daniel’s Music Foundation (DMF) presents The 7th Annual Danny Awards®. Celebrating 20 years of impact, DMF was founded in 2006 by the Trush family on the premise that music is a right, rather than a privilege. The nonprofit organization provides free music programs for people with disabilities of all ages, in NYC and online. Today, they continue to create opportunities for people with disabilities through music. Co-Founder Daniel Trush inspired DMF, after surviving a life-altering brain aneurysm at age 12 and a 30-day coma. Music was an integral part of his recovery and became the instrument to connect with others through the Foundation. Selected from hundreds of global entries by an esteemed panel of 13 judges – including Nick Cucci (Senior Executive Director, Recording Academy® New York Chapter), Omar Grant (Senior Director & Creative A&R, Sony Music Publishing), and George Dennehy (Singer-Songwriter & Just Call Me By My Name® Artist) – 10 extraordinary bands, instrumentalists, and soloists will perform live to an audience of 1,500+ and be streamed online. For the first time ever, attendees both in person and online will vote live during the show for the $5,000 Community Choice Award winner. Pricing: $20-$30
