The Witching Hour: Hexes & Hot Jazz in The Red Pavilion

For The Witching Hour, our house band conjures a Halloween edition of its signature East-meets-West repertoire, weaving Chinese jazz and vintage Shanghai sounds together with American standards steeped in moonlight, magic, mischief, and the macabre. Expect smoky horns, seductive rhythms, and familiar melodies transformed for the Red Pavilion -- where old Shanghai glamour meets jazz-age noir. Bewitching standards, eerie instrumentals, and songs of spells, spirits, strange romance, and things that go bump in the night mingle with selections from the band’s usual cinematic and taboo-jazz repertoire. Come dressed for the witching hour and settle in beneath the red lanterns for an evening of hexes, hot jazz, and haunted glamour. 6:30pm Doors / 7pm Show.
