Van Alen Fall Fest 2026 – Kultur in Brooklyn

Join the annual open house hosted by Van Alen Institute, an architecture and design nonprofit in Gowanus. Check out our exhibition “Open Access: Exploring 130 Years of American Design,” which invites five artists and design teams to respond to Van Alen’s 130-year-old archive, and talk with the artists about their work. Stick around to participate in all-ages art workshops: decorate your own masquerade mask inspired by our historic Beaux-Arts Ball, and create a collage of your dream city using designs from our archive. And enjoy apple cider donuts and hot cider from Treelicious Orchards! Van Alen Fall Fest is proudly presented in collaboration with Archtober and Gowanus Open Studios. Free and open to the public! RSVPs are appreciated: https://luma.com/0rca9qf1 Free admission.
