Young Dancemakers Company presents the 2026 Touring Season

Young Dancemakers Company (YDC), the acclaimed tuition-free dance ensemble of NYC public high school students, returns this summer with a new season of original choreography created and performed by the teens themselves. Under the artistic leadership of Jessica Gaynor and music direction by William Catanzaro, the company’s 2026 touring season runs from July 29 to August 6, with performances across New York City culminating in a finale concert at the Ailey Citigroup Theater. This year’s program features a special repertory project with legendary choreographer and Horton master teacher Milton Myers, whose work Seasonal Fire will be performed by the company alongside new student-created works developed during the summer intensive.
